Kenneth L. “Kenny” Galloway – (65) – of West William St., Corning died early Saturday morning (February 8, 2025) at his home, following a long illness.
Born in Rochester on March 5, 1959, he was the son of Nelson & Mildred (Barefoot) Galloway.
Kenny grew up in Rochester and attended Rochester West High School. After receiving his GED, he attended Alfred State College where he majored in Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC).
For over 15 years, Ken served as manager of Mountainbrow Village Townhouses in Corning.
Proud of his Indian heritage, Kenny loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing in ponds, rivers & streams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Mildred Galloway; and his brother, James Galloway.
Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Galloway of Sodus, Joshua Galloway of Andover, Donald Cobb of Livonia, Cerabeth Galloway of Canandaigua and Ella Galloway of Watertown; 1 sister, Linda (Vern) DePriest of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Leo, Kiya & Willow.
At Kenny’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
Kenny’s family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to either ASPCA or any local humane society or animal shelter.
