Marilyn Murphy ( Mrs. Murphy) was a wonderful woman and a shining star in our old neighborhood, Hill Street, Albion St., Spruce St., Prospect St. . What memories, what fun, Marilyn taught me how to swim at the Crosby Creek Dam off of Maxwell Ave. The many sleep overs at her home and the life long friendships with her children. We were blessed to live in a time where we all looked out for each other and Marilyn and my beloved Mother lend the charge. God Bless Marilyn May she Rest In Peace. Loved here so.

Prayers for Marilyn’s family and friends to get through this difficult time. I was blessed to have know her when she would protest with us rain or shine in front of planned parenthood in Hornell. She did not look her age. She was a good person and I believe she made it to her home in Heaven. Rest in peace Marilyn you were a good and faithful servant and will be missed by all the people you touched with your beautiful smile.
Dear Sister, although you were my step sister, there was never a day that I didn’t LOVE you as a blood sister❤ From the time I was a little girl, you showered me with your compassion, honest caring and kind words, always making me feel safe, secure, and yes Loved! Many wonderful summer weeks were spent with you, Bill, Billy, Debby,Jen and Bridget. And as I grew, I felt very much a part of your family as you wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Even when I grew up and moved to Rochester, we stayed in close contact making sure to share lunches together each fall before you went to Florida and as soon as you came back each Spring. And every summer up until this last decade, I would invite you, brother Bill and sister Corrinne to the Lake (Conesus) for a beautiful day by the water, where we would enjoy lots of laughter and good food. So many years of special close memories that I will hold DEAR forever. Goodbye my Sister😘
Rest in peace until we see each other again🤗❤🙏
