To my aunts, uncles and Dad, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I will forever cherish the great memories I have of Grandma. Although I remember many visits to New York, the memories I hold dearest to my heart are of the ones in Marion. As a little girl Grandpa and Grandma’s house seemed magical to me…Grandma’s loving, soft spoken, kind way- the way she always made me feel so special-that is a feeling that will be part of me always. I hope and pray all of your memories will help you through this difficult time as I know she is in heaven watching over us all.

Tommy – I was sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. They prayed for her in church on Sunday. How nice it was of you and your family to bring her back to St. Ann’s for her funeral. I hope it brought back good memories to you when where back at St. Ann’s Church and seeing St. Ann’s school. This will probably be the last year the school will be open. So much has changed since 1971!

    To the Murphy Family

I unfortunately just found out about the passing of your mother. Please accept my deepest condolences. I am so sorry that I could not convey my last respects. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
As part of the old Ransom Street gang, there was at least one truism and that was those crazy Murphy kids with the mother that was a saint. Even at an early age we all realized what a kind and wonderful person she was and will alwyas be remebered.
Again, i am so sorry. Please keep in touch.
