Myer was a “real mensch” I am sure he has been reunited with his beloved wife who was one of my most favorite and influential teachers and that whatever our individual perceptions of life ever after include they will have a great “Super Bowl Weekend” As the Irish say: “May he rest in peace”

Our thoughts and prayers to the Spitulnik family at this difficult time. Remembering my employment years at National Fuel and having coffee with Myer, Peg, John June, and Ernie and Karl Weyand at the Big Elms Restaurant in the 1980’s and 1990’s, as the group attempted to resolve all the problems in the world. What a gentleman Myer was, and I will always remember his infectious laugh.

I wish to express my sympathy to the family and especially my childhood friends Danny and Frank.
I do have very fond memories of your dad, one of the few adults who we could get away with calling by his first name. Myer was always a fixture at various sports games and events for the kids.
Having just lost my own mother just days earlier, I certainly know the pain of losing a parent. Feel comfort in the fact that they are in a better place, free of pain.
God bless Myer, the family and all those who grieve.
Sincerely,
John Waters

Our sympathy to the Spitulnik family. We knew Myer from Coslos and he came there faithfully for many years. He was a good friend and a very nice man to know. When Danny White told him we wouuld not be at Coslos anymore, he actually cried. He found a home there and a very good friend in Danny. We enjoyed the relationship. We will miss him.
God Bless all of you.

Danny, Frank and the entire Spitulnik family,
Not sure what to say; Myer was a true champion to me, role model and full of wisdom to be shared with countless young people; but you knew all that; He set the bar high as a family man and I’m so grateful for the life lessons he taught me while working for him so many summers ago.
God bless the Spitulnik’s
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Spitulnik Family.
Meyer was a very close friend of our family. I can still remember
(my brothers and sisters also remember) when he visited our house in North Hornell when we were kids. He was still a bachelor at that time. We all have wonderful memories. Later in high school I was fortunate to be in Mrs. Spitulnik’s Biology class.
Meyer was a class act and true gentleman. He will be missed.
