We send our deepest sympathies to Mary Catherine and Albert. You should be proud that you both took such outstanding and remarkable care of your Mother and also your Father. I was sure lucky to have them as my Aunt and Uncle and what wonderful memories I have of them, from my childhood. They were without a doubt, the two kindest and nicest people I have EVER known in my life. Heaven has a new angel there. Love, John & Mickey Crowley

Just wanted to convey my deepest condolences to Mrs. Devlin’s family. I had her as my grade school teacher in Arkport many years ago. She had a great impact on my life. She was a very kind lady that I will remember always with a smile. I will miss that smile every time I walk into church. I will miss that. May God keep her in his arms.

Mary and Albert, I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. The world is a sad place without her prayers and giving personality. Angie was the most kind, gentle, caring individual that I have ever known. She was a one of a kind lady who made the world a better place to live in. I am so very sorry that I will not be able to be with you during this difficult time. Please forgive me and know that I care about all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you Peggy

Thinking of you Albert and Mary. I am sorry I cannot attend. I am out of town, but do know that you are in my thoughts. 98! what a wonderful life! I, and many many others, will never forget her great smile. She certainly will be remembered for spreading happiness. Please give my condolences to Anne Marie as well. I would have liked to be there, but cannot.

    In Sympathy,

This weekend my younger sister and I flew in from North Carolina where we both live for our sister’s birthday and just read about the loss of what I remember as a truly beautiful human being.

Mrs. Devlin was my fourth grade teacher at Arkport Central School. I graduated in 1981 and went into education in part because of wonderful role models like your mother. Her love of learning and deep affection for each of us to reach our potential has stayed with me all these years. I will remember her, her kinds eyes, warm smile and sweet dimple for years to come.

May the memories of how she touched the lives of so many provide your family with comfort at this time.

I was sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Even though myself and family only lived across the street for a short time i will miss seeing her out and about. I only got to visit with her a few times in the four years that we were neighbors. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your families at this time.

Mary and Albert, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. I was lucky enough to have her as my 2nd grade teacher at St. Ann’s. I have never forgotten how much I loved Mrs. Devlin, with her sweet, soft voice and her kind, loving smile. If I close my eyes, I can still picture her classroom, and it seems like sun was always streaming in the windows–something about her always made it feel sunshiney…She was a truly wonderful woman who touched many lives; you must be so proud to have had such a mother.

My husband and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of your beloved Angelina. The grief felt when we lose a loved one may seem unbearable at times. At such a time we sought comfort in God’s Word, for he too feels our pain, when someone we love dies. (Psalm 34:18) May you also find comfort in the wonderful memories you all made and shared together-cherish them in your hearts always.
