Mahlon E. “Bud” Kintz, JR – (77) – of Rochester, NY, formerly of 9529 Route 21 South, Wayland, NY, died Thursday morning (October 17, 2019) at the Hildebrant Hospice Care Facility in Rochester, following a long illness.
Born in Rochester, NY on February 14, 1942, he was the son of Mahlon & Audrey (Hill) Kintz.
Bud grew up in Greece, NY and had resided in the Wayland area for the past 22 years. He had been employed as an equipment operator at Eastman Kodak Corporation for 26 years, retiring in 1992. Bud enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, camping & boating.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Bonnie Ann (Don) DeCarlo of Churchville, NY and Sharon Ann Tucker of Rochester; 3 grandchildren, Andrew DeCarlo, Lexi (Jon Abrams) Tucker & Jack Tucker; 2 great-grandchildren, Hailey Abrams & Johanna Abrams.
At Mahlon’s request there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.

I’m so sorry to hear about Uncle Bud. He was always so good about checking on mom after dad passed and gave the best hugs. Please know I am sending my love to both of you and your families. Rest easy, Uncle Bud. You were loved more than you know.
