William L. “Bill” Kiley – 76 – of 55 West Ave., Arkport, died unexpectedly Monday evening (October 11, 2010) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Canaseraga on September 8, 1934, he was the son of William & Olive Kiley.
Bill was a graduate of Canaseraga Central School and later served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Arkport American Legion. Bill was employed for about 32 years as an upholsterer at Gunlock Corporation in Wayland.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald “Ducky” Kiley and James “Cod” Kiley.
Surviving are 1 son, Mitch Kiley of Arkport; 1 daughter, Karen Heinz of California; 1 brother, Roger (Sandy) Kiley of Canaseraga; 4 sisters, Janice White of Arkport, Lois Orlecharski of Burns, Marilyn Oliver of Canaseraga and Errol Newville of Silver Springs; several nieces & nephews.
At Bill’s request there will be no calling hours or services. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
