Patricia A. “Pat” Morse – 70 – of Dundee, NY, died Friday afternoon (January 10, 2014) at Highland Hospital in Rochester.
Born January 17, 1943 in Elmira, she was the daughter of Alfred & Ruth (Fenton) Morse.
Pat grew up in Elmira and was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy High School. She later attended Fredonia State College where she studied music, with the hope of one day becoming a concert pianist.
Throughout the years, Pat resided in several locations, including Penn Yan, Elmira and in recent years has resided in Dundee, NY.
While living in Penn Yan, she was employed as a secretary for DelRossa Ford, a family owned business. While residing in Elmira, Pat worked as a bookkeeper/accountant for Artistic Greetings and in more recent years worked in several capacities at Community Bank in Watkins Glen, NY.
Pat never turned her back on her love of music as she continued to play piano for her family & friends throughout her lifetime. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint & spent countless hours crocheting. Pat’s life would not be complete without remembering her deep love and devotion to her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
Surviving are her son, Leo “Skip” DelRossa of Penn Yan; 2 daughters, Lena (John) McDermott of Hornell and Christi (Sean) Campbell of Dundee; 1 brother, Alfred “Al” Morse of Dundee; 2 sisters, Marilyn Wilson of Bath and Lucretia “Lu” Wes of Candor, NY; 2 grandchildren, Britni Forman and Devon Forman; several nieces & nephews.
At Pat’s request there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.

So sorry to hear about your Mom. Pat was my first cousin as your Grandfather and my Dad were brothers. I always loved Pat as our families spent a lot of time together when we were children. I hadn’t seen her since the early 80’s. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
