So sorry for your lose. She was truly a wonderful woman. Prayers for you and yours. Joanie
Mrs. Weyand graduated with my mother, Vivian (Button) Osmin and was a lifelong friend of the family. I have many treasured memories of the Weyand family from my days in Hornell. My condolences to the family.
Janice and I happily shared two grandchildren, Tori and Emily Weyand. I will now try to double my grandmother efforts in her absence and remind them of how much she loved them. I think they know though.
Yearly for many years, Janice has sent me a Kate Libby calendar for Christmas. Every month the picture has to be changed and every month I thought of Janice. Today I changed to the December picture, the last one of the year. It seemed sort of symbolic of her passing; the completion of a life well lived. I felt gratitude for having known her and for the wonderful job she did of raising her children, including my son in law, Ernie.
I am so sorry that she left her lovely family so suddenly. I know you all will miss her terribly. I will continue the tradition of the calendars from now on and think of Janice each month.
Love and aloha to you all. Mary
Our sincere sympathy to a wonderful family on the loss of a beautiful woman. May God be with you in this time of your grief.

My sincere sympathy to her family and friends to a very special lady. I had just talked to her last week so this was quite a shock. She was a very dedicated volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Drives and Fundraisers. I enjoyed talking with her and working with her for many years. Prayers to you all.
Janice was a warm, kind and loving woman. What a loss to all that were privileged to even know her. She was always smiling and loved all young people. I moved away from Hornell in 1977 and through those years she kept in touch. I always received a Christmas card with pictures of the grandchildren. I loved hanging out at the Weyand house. What a wonderful family and what an extraordinary woman she was. She will always be remembered. Sincere sympathy to Liz, Ernie and John May God Bless you all. Love Paula
Remmember Seeing Mrs. Weyand minding the gift shop at MercyCare – Always with a smile.
Also, met her several times as a volunteer at the Red Cross blood donations.- Always had an encouraging word. An exemplary model of how to be a volunteer.
Her integrity, honesty, sense of responsibility, and sense of humour she has passed on to her wonderful family.
Liz, Ernie & John. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless
