Diane S. Clemons

Diane S. Clemons – 58 – of 86 North Church St., Hornell, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening (June 12, 2013) in Cuba, NY.

Born in Cuba on June 14, 1954, she was the daughter of Clyde & Aileen Clemons.

Growing up, Diane resided in several locations including Cuba, West Clarksville, Portville &Wellsville & for many years lived in Friendship, NY.  She has resided in Hornell for the past seven years. 

She was a graduate of Richburg High School (class of 1972).  Diane was employed for over 10 years at K-Mart Store in Wellsville.  She later worked in the housekeeping department of SUNY Alfred.

Diane had a deep love for all children.  She also was an animal lover (especially dogs) and even had a favorite animated animal character — Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh).

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Bell.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Michelle (Vernon) Robinson of Olean and Yolanda Clemons of Laveen, AZ; 1 son, Matthew (Kylene) Crew of Cuba; 3 sisters, Claudia (Richard) Mount of Hornell, Connie Clemons of Hornell and Debbie Brewer of Hornell; 1brother, Clyde (Jackie) Clemons, Jr. of Wellsville; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, Aaliyah Robinson, Ian Sadler, Jacienna Crew and Liam Crew; several nieces & nephews.

The family of Diane S. Clemons will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY where a Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:00 PM with memories shared by family & friends.

    I love auntie D. I was lookin forward on talkin to u on ur birthday this year and wishing u a happy birthday and havin u wish me a happy birthday the next day. I didn’t get to talk to u and do that this year but I will always remember u calling me on ur birthday talkin to me. I miss u and u will always be in my heart .
