Beverly J. Trimble – 73 – of 981 Karr Valley Rd., Almond, died unexpectedly Thursday evening (March 21, 2013) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in North Hornell on June 26, 1939, she was the daughter of Cash & Edith (Thomas) Davison.
Beverly grew up in the Almond area and was a graduate of Alfred-Almond Central School (class of 1958). Following high school, she was employed for a time at Westinghouse in Bath and also Marion Rohr Corporation. She later worked for several years as a “packer” at Mullen Meat Processing. For about 15 years, Beverly operated “Tootsie” — an antique Co-Op located in “The Garage” in Angelica.
An exceptional seamstress and upholsterer, Beverly enjoyed re-finishing and upholstering furniture. Not only did she re-furbish most of her furniture in her home, she also made all of the draperies and other decorations. Beverly also loved working on the exterior of her home. She did all of the landscaping and even built a pond and a gazebo. No job was too big or too small.
Beverly enjoyed spending most of her time at her home. She loved being a mother and also absolutely adored being a “Nana” to her grandchildren. She made sure that she spent “one-on-one” time with each of her grandkids, making each and every one of them feel special.
She was married on February 10, 1962 to Maxwell Aaron “Max” Trimble who died July 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard Davison, Robert Davison and Melville “Bud” Davison; 2 sisters, Carolyn Beard and Noreen Hall.
Surviving are 2 daughters, MaryAnn Trimble of Alfred Station and Marci (Timothy Cheresnowsky) Trimble of Canisteo; 1 son, Monte (Denise Thompson) Trimble of Alfred Station; 1 sister, Eleanor Gosper of Angelica; 6 grandchildren, Abby Fancher, Ali Fancher, Emma Jiusto, Jack Jiusto, Natalie Trimble & Mia Trimble; with #7 grandchild, Evan Trimble is due in April; several nieces & nephews.

Beverly’s family request that memorial contributions in her name be made to Give Kids The World, 210 South Bass Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34746. This is a wonderful charity that sends terminally ill children and their families to Disneyworld.
One word comes to mind, Special. Special Lady, special friend. Although we lost touch the last few years, I will always cherish the friendship we had… Oh the fun times! Rest in peace my dear friend.
MaryAnn, Monte and Marci-
My heart goes out to you and your families during this time.
God Bless,

I feel very privileged to have known your Mama. She had such a sense of humor and always made me feel special and loved. It was so much fun listening to her talk about her kids and her “pride and joy”, her grandchildren and how they made her so happy. I will always admire her.
My heart goes out to all of you.
Patty
